The following policies apply to donspoolservice.com web site

HOW TO ORDER:
There are 3 ways to place your order from donspoolservice.com web site.  You may order from Our Online Store
and/or use one of the following:

1. Shopping Cart:
We are currently upgrading Our Online Store with a new look and a shopping cart for easy shopping. If the product
you wish to buy has a "buy now" or "add to cart" button by it, Just click the button to add the item to your shopping
cart.  When you’re ready to check out, just click the "check out" button on the view cart screen and fill in the required
information.   

Shipping is free in the Continental U.S. & already included in the price.  
A
$5.00 handling fee will be charged for all orders. (It may show as a flat rate shipping fee, but it is a handling fee)   
In
New York State, 8% sales tax will be added.

2. Call Us:
You may place your order by phone during business hours.  We will ship once payment arrives.

3. Mail:
You may print out the on-line order form for Pool and/or Spa Chemicals and mail it to us with check or money order.  
You may also write down other online item(s) with the item # and Price(s), your name, address, and phone number,
and mail it to us with a check or money order.

New York State Sales tax @ 8% must be added to all orders placed in New York State.

TERMS:
  • Payment: with credit card when your order is placed through this website.  We accept Pay Pal.       
  • Personal checks are accepted.  However, your order will not be placed until your check is received.·        
  • COD:  We do not ship COD ·        
  • Out of U.S.A. orders:  We do not ship outside the Continental U.S.

ORDER PROCESS:
1. Your order will be reviewed and checked by our product specialist.
2. The order will then be processed through our order department and a copy of your invoice will be emailed to you  
within 2 business days.
3. Review your invoice and let us know if there are any errors.
4. If there are any problems or extended shipping times (please review our estimated shipping times below) We will
contact you via email or phone.
5. ORDER STATUS AND QUESTIONS:  Email our
Customer Service Department to check order status or with any
questions.

BILLING
:
All Credit card charges and invoices will show up in the name of "
Don’s Pool Service" or “donspoolservice.com

SHIPPING CHARGES:
All shipping charges are included in the price and shipping is free within the continental United States.  
We currently do not ship outside of the continental U.S.    
A $5.00 Handling fee will be charged for each order.

RUSH SHIPPING:
We are not able to offer Rush Delivery.

ESTIMATED SHIPPING TIMES:  
Don’s Pool Service ships by UPS, or FEDEX if possible, or by Truck for large items. Different products ship from
different warehouses in the U.S. & shipping times will vary depending on the items ordered. We always try to ship your
complete order from the same location but sometimes this is not possible and you may receive some items before
others. Shipping times vary depending on the carrier.        
  • Stock orders                                                                                                                                              
generally ship 2 - 5 working days after the order is through processing.         
  • UPS
You should receive UPS shipped orders 5 - 10 working days after the order has shipped.      
  • Truck Orders
shipped by truck generally take 7 - 14 days until delivery. When your order reaches the dock in your city, the
freight company will call you to arrange delivery. You must have someone home to accept the order.

SALES TAX:
If you ship an order to a
New York State address, the current tax rate of 8% will be added to your order. If you are a
tax-exempt organization shipping your order in New York State then we require a copy of your tax-exempt certificate.

CANCELLATIONS:
You may cancel your order at no cost to you if the item has not been shipped or if production has not begun.  Call our
customer service department for a status on the order you wish to cancel and they will inform you of the status of your
order and if there will be any charges for canceling the order.
After an item has shipped or production has started, the item is then classified as a return and all applicable return
policies will apply.        
  • Cancellations: If you cancel your order after it has been shipped, you will be charged for all shipping charges
    (both ways) incurred and a 20% restocking fee.       
  • Refusal of shipment: If you refuse the order, you will be charged for all shipping, delivery & storage charges
    incurred and a 20% restocking fee.

RETURNS: RETURN AUTHORIZATION REQUIRED
donspoolservice.com accepts returns.  To request return authorization, call our customer service department at
607.742.1310 or e-mail at kelly@donspoolservice.com for return authorization.  
The item must be in re-sellable condition in its original packaging, unopened.  
You will be responsible for all shipping charges* both ways (not the shipping that was included free to you upon
order).

*Shipping charges - the actual shipping charges incurred to get the product to and/or from you.  Depending on the
product, only a percentage of the actual shipping may have been billed when the purchase was made, due to free
shipping included upon order.

Return Policy:
  • Actual Shipping charges* (both ways) will not be refunded.        
  • Only unused and unopened items are returnable         
  • Items that are in un-sellable condition or are missing parts are not returnable.        
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging & in re-sellable condition.        
  • Defective or damaged items are handled under the warranty or freight damage policies.

REFUNDS:
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within 7 to 14 Business days
after we receive your return. Please note that the shipping costs are not refundable unless the return is a result of
our error.

PRIVACY: This web site does not gather or keep information on visitors unless you sign up to be on our mailing list or
request a quote on line, if you e-mail us we may use your e-mail address for future postcard mail outs.  We do keep
information on our customers.  We do not sell customer, or visitor information or addresses.  Any information you
provide us is used by our company(s) only.

Local Services such as Pool Openings, Closings, Weekly Maintenance, Pool Installation, Liner
Replacements, and New In-ground Pool Builds are only for our local service area listed within the website.
